Title: Des Moines report

Arrived just prior to registration closing. Walked the lot and saw some intresting cars that I will want to see closer. Met Murf so at least had a chance to say Hi to one forum regular. I've seen marty's cars but have yet to meet him. Saw his car which was built along side mine. His green and camel interior is stunning. Saw a 68 red 500KR which looks unrestored. Looks to have had some paint in the past on the rear tail but curious to see it up close. Is Charles, Bob or Jeff here?

jeff & bob p. are here as is bob gaines and tim lea. shaping up to be a good show. i got a good parking space & a room close to the car.

I did get to meet Jeff at the Judges meeting. Also heard that Pete Dishers car was the highland green Shelby so I found him sitting behind it. Tim I spent some time combing the lot but never managed to track you and Bob G down. I understand Charles didn't make it to this one. Spent a few moments with Marty and Murf so at least I met a few of you. Thanks for the help up to this point.

I didn't realize the Ames Straw Poll was this weekend as well; fortunately, it was down the road a bit.  Nevertheless, you guys have any politicians show up?
