«

What is the correct battery for 1972 Mach 1, Q code with AC, 03/16/72 build date? Autolite or Motorcraft? If Motorcraft, is there a source for reproductions?
Thanks, Chuck

Chuck,
Not sure if you so read the prior posts on this issue. I would go with the Autolite. Just my $.02.

MCA rules allow for either in judging according to the last set of rules I have (might check on the new site for the latest info) Motorcraft was introduced that year and I would think that by March Motorcraft batteries would be in the system.
As for availability I believe NOS or good used is the only options for those
