I just removed the large rear seat side panels from a 1972 mach1. I noticed that one of them has a clip mounted on the rear edge. There are usually two small plastic pins sticking up that are unused. This is the first time I have ever seen a clip actually installed. The panels appear to be original to the car. According to the door sticker the car was built in January of 1972. The car did not come with a fold down. The vin is 2F05F164xxx. Don?t think this is a running change as I have panels made in 1971 and also 1973 and none of them have clips.
