Title: 1970 standard int door speaker grille gasket
Post by: kcodecoupe on August 20, 2014, 10:13:57 AM
should there be a seal or gasket of some kind between the door speaker grille and door panel on a 1970 standard interior  car as they dont fit exactly flush to the door ,i know that deluxe speaker grilles are not the same shape as standard int grilles, a picture would be great, thanks.

The back of the grill has paper with an oval cutout and 4 holes for the screw posts and 4 foam strips glued on the paper
The standard grills are uniform depth around the perimeter and mount flush on the door metal with the panel above them
Repros don't have any paper or foam
