Title: Manual vs power brake pedal
Post by: 13Outlaw on August 22, 2015, 11:14:46 AM
I have searched around and read to convert from manual brakes to power on my 69 I have to change out the brake pedal, but when I look at pictures of power brake pedals for sell I don't really see the difference when looking at mine. More than pedal difference, my concern is the way the booster mounts to the firewall. Has anyone done the conversion? If so, what do I actually need to change?

You can modify your existing drum brake pedal hanger, by knocking out the three nutserts that aren't needed. I believe that the bolt hole is present for the longer disc brake pedal.
