Title: upper control arm shafts?
Post by: ruppstang on November 16, 2015, 12:28:40 AM
I purchased a 67 project that had been stored for 30 years, it had these odd upper control arm shafts one installed on one side and one new box in the trunk. I have never seen ones like this. I take it was not a great idea and discontinued?

There is a few different versions of control arm shaft kits.  Those you picture here I see every so often on ones I am rebuilding.  They are not threaded but pressed in.  And they still sell that style today thru Moog and I think one other source.

I'm thinking those are something like Granada parts...which can be retrofit into Mustangs.

On a driver grade car if they preform well and do not squeak or need greasing I guess they would be ok.
I knew some of you guys had seen them.
