Post by: priceless on April 30, 2016, 12:35:16 PM
Does anyone know a good carburetor rebuilder for the Autolite 2V carburetor, C9ZF-B with bowl vent? See photo. Any help appreciated,
Rich

UPDATE: Found Mike's Carburetors. Wealth of information and Parts.

I would try Kurt at KP carbs. I think his contact information is in the classified section.

No experience with them but Holley does all carbs.  Another vendor has been selling rebuilt carbs on ebay rather inexpensive, known as "gone fishing".

Those carbs are really basic with few parts. It might be something you could do. Only internal adjustment is the float level.  The specs are usually in the carb kit with the tool. My experience with exchange rebuilds isn't good.

Agree, these are super easy to rebuild.  Hardest part is cleaning.

Happy with Kurt's work on my carb.  Bolted right up in good tune for first start and run in on the cam.
