Title: What is this hole for?
Post by: MustangAndFairlane1867 on February 14, 2018, 08:48:18 PM
I have a 1/2" +/- hole in the floor board, driver side, just below the accelerator pedal in my 1965 Mustang (San Jose/2.16.1965) that is very neatly stamped but doesn't serve a purpose I can identify. From the looks of it, my first inclination is that it is a factory stamp. But for what? There was no plug in it when I took out the carpeting and spotted it, and no wires or anything else threaded through it. The car's in for paint and unless I can determine it's a factory stamp for some specific purpose, I will probably have the body guy weld it up. Please let me know if you've got the answer. Thanks, Ron
