Title: 2007 Mustang blend door question
Post by: Chris B on May 21, 2018, 03:10:14 AM: I hear there are 4 actuators. 3 near the glove box, and one behind the instrument cluster. Which one does which function?

Post by: Chris B on May 21, 2018, 03:16:28 AM: To explain or elaborate, The air will not come out of the dash vents. I had one making the clicking sound. I found out it was the upper one near the glove box. I replaced it (it was defective with broken gear teeth) but that did not solve the problem with the dash vents blowing air. I took out the actuator below the faulty on e, and it appears to be working fine. Please don't tell me it is the damn one behind the dash!

Just my opinion here but ~~hack~~machining a hole in the dash, though offered as a solution, isn't what I would recommend.
