great !!! i plan to attend. hope to see a lot of folks there.
-
I had been planning on attending this judging clinic..but either due to good luck or bad luck..It was good luck that I rec'd my First Junior award at a National AACA show, and bad luck that my 14 year old daughter wants me to take her and my car to the Hershey meet the very same time as the judging clinic so that she can visit the Hershey Museum. I don't guess this is bad luck though, cause I have been trying to get her to attend a car show with me for several years! :-\ ???
-
I plan on coming up, I can't wait to see Bob's cars and Shop.
My be looking for someone to share a hotel room with. But not you Fred I will not spend another night in a bathtud to get away from your snoring! ;)
-
i don't snore !!! you just don't sleep deep enough!! see ya there !!
-
Okay, just made my flight reservations, see you there. 8)
-
I may very well be attending after all !

Any idea of the quoted rate?
He must have had them block out a bunch of rooms - most of the travel deal sites show no rooms available 7/29th, So direct contact will be a must if your staying there
-
Just called, and they have very few rooms. There's a border collie tournament going on at the same time. I'll have to sneak away for that since I just started agility training with my border collie.
-
Thanks - got one
-
me too. wonder why bob didn't use the motel we used in 2003? no big deal but it's 6 miles closer to his place.

I think he's trying to get that one too. More info to come...
-
The dog tournament that weekend will be a big draw and likely is taking up a lot of the rooms around there.
-
Not gona be their because of Hershey been going their since I been 1 year old... can't mis it... and my 4 chocolate field spots would be vacant. And I got to find parts for my original 32 roadster... but you guys gota bring back the mca tech inspection for a year to avoid waiting in line for tech... thats such a boring drag.. just my opinion
-
We don't do a technical inspection, and haven't for several years. It's a classification inspection to ensure the cars are in the right class. I thought I had read somewhere that you can get a classification for a year.

Information posted to MCA website. Will be additional information in the September Judge's Corner article in Mustang Times.

-
Let me see what time I can catch a flight out of Nashville!
-
loks like I can't catch a flight out that will get me there until about 11 that day...how much will I miss and will it be worth my time to get there that late ?
-
don't know about that. have not seen the agenda. we are going to arrive thursday about noon.

Where are you flying into? Could make a big difference, get in at 11, bags and rental car 11:45-12, drive an hour or so - so your there at 1 pm??
Agenda is still in the works (need to call Charles since I just go back this morning) so I can not report for sure if you will miss the very important ;) stuff. And of course if your not I wouldn't put it in public since others would choose to be a little late also :(
-
I was going to fly in to Milwaukee.....I could also leave on Friday night about 9 PM my time..and the drive is about 11 hours. I am afraid that I would be VERY tired if I did this and might fall asleep duiring the clinic.
I hope Charles Turner sees this and will send me an email about the schedules. I would rather fly in if I am not going to miss very much of the very important topics.

I would think you'd be missing quite a bit. If you want to get the most out of the meeting, plan to be there Friday for the meet & greet.
-
Thanks again charles. I cannot make it at all on friday, family comittments. Maybe I can make it next year.
-
The Judge's Meeting is less than 2 weeks away!
-
I'ii be there Saturday and Sunday. Friday is still up in the air.
-
Looking forward to seeing all of you on Friday night!
-
does anyone know if bob has enough chairs?? we plan to bring our own.....just a thought....
-
Don't know if I'll make the meet and greet on Friday night. My flight arrives at 6 pm, so it will be almost over by the time I could get there and I'm not big on driving in unknown places at night.
-
Should have enough chairs, but if you have room for a few, probably wouldn't hurt... just in case!
-
Bring some warm clothes. A high of 40 deg. on Saturday and 45 deg. on Sunday. I love fall in Wisconsin. ;D
-
Oh, I'm going to freeze my tail off! :o
-
saturday night; Join Charles, Mike and Jake @ hooters. Tim and Jeff welcome to play with the big boys!!!!!
Actually aren't jeff and I the big boys? (literally) I think too many Saturday nights have stunted your growth ;D
Look forward to seeing you again
-
It might be a little bit of a drive to Hooters. Janesville or Madison.

I'm sure Jake already has them programmed in his GPS ;D

Rather than omit any particular individual who was involved in the judges meeting last weekend, I want to extend a big THANKS to simply everyone who was involved in the planning and delivery of a great experience. It was just a wonderful weekend! You all did a professional job and for those unable to be there, we missed you and you missed a great Mustang event.

++1. we had a safe trip home arriving monday afternoon......looking forward to hearing their decisions about the future.
