From the literature and web sources, the 7th Generation Mustang is being defined as: 2024 - =>
6th Generation: 2015 - 2023.
Time to create a 7th Generation Mustang Forum on this site?

That would make sense, but I get the feeling few on this forum care about the newer Mustangs.

Seems that the later guys are not that focused on collecting and maintaining that knowledge on the net. Sure there are a few but have not met of heard from them. We would be more than happy to provide an area as we have for the other generations.

I have no opinion as to adding coverage of late model Mustangs, but I looked at one of the 2024 Mustangs (S650 model) at a car show. The car is very impressive - as stylish and powerful (480 HP) as it could be. For Ford to go all out on a new design is reassuring to me when so many other companies are switching to electric vehicles and boring SUV's.
Here is what the S650 has-
The revised platform receives dual throttle bodies with dual air intakes for better airflow and performance. A new steel oil pan and exhaust manifold design also contribute to what will be Ford's most potent and efficient 5.0-liter V8 ever. The 2024 Mustang GT produces 480 horsepower and 420 FTlb . The handling is a strong plus and does so on all season tires. Price is around 50K.

Two week-old 2024 Mustang Dark Horse (Gen 7) next to signature car 2008 Mustang GT (Gen 5).
2024 Dark Horse 5.0 four cam Coyote engine has 500 hp naturally aspirated. Very impressive Mustang.

I rented an 2024 ecoboost convertible when I was away, Very nice capable car. Even without a roof it felt stiffer than a fox body or SN-95. Handled great, plenty of power.
Not a fan of the big screens on the dash.
I didn't like it more than the S550 I had (GT350) nor the S550 I have (GT500). Obviously not fair to compare the ecoboost to the high powered versions, but I'm speaking about the everyday aspects of the car, not tracking it or laying on the throttle.
I think the S550 looks better, a lttle more "mustang" to me.
