What is the finish of the 67-68 courtesy lights? Silver cad or silver zinc? The lamp housing snaps off and is obviously gold cad. Thanks

Believe it was zinc originally - but I've never had one tested. Most of us can't get cad done locally anymore so they settle for zinc and dull the finish a bit for silver cad

Thanks Jeff.
Fortunately I can get all kinds of plating done here. Everything except galvanized.
