Autolite 4100 Carburetor Details and Discussion
« on: May 05, 2018, 07:31:43 AM »
Here is some info from the 60-68 MPC that might help.  The official name of the part is a "support - booster venturi" and has a part number of 9A523.

In section 95 of the MPC there is a list of hundreds of carbs and the corresponding parts kits.

For example. in the third picture we see the C5ZZ-9510-M carb showing a parts list of 12G, which refers to section 95.12.  The second page I included shows that the 12G kit includes the CF, CH, and A booster venturis.  Why three?  The kit was designed to handle more than one specific carb.

Thanks for the information. Where can I learn which boosters belong in which 4100 carb?
Codes are listed in the shop manual  section 10 fuel system specifications.

On that page, it appears that the differences are specific carburetor related, or date related. Ford was trying to keep the number of pages in the MPC to a low level.

Split this thread from the Ford Sale ad  so it can continue and take a life of its own here
