Brant, Would you explain how to decode the "tick" mark date code as shown on the last casting.

but
each "tick" or bump = 1 month
Example:
4 "ticks" = April
8 "ticks" = June

That was the easy part, I'm asking about the last picture in his VA Mustang site, the date code with a 65 at an angle inside a circle surrounded by "ticks" as in 12 each also inside the circle.

I think it has something to do with the way the "65" is positioned.
