I have one NOS 1967 -1968 Shelby Mustang radio delete plate. NOS means never installed and MINT condition not needing restoration or re-chroming. $450

If I remember correctly there is a difference between the 67 and the 68 block off plate so it might be best if you list which one it is ;)
Checking the engineering number might help.

1-C7ZB-6504371-A
What is the other number ?

The other delete plate engineering number is C7ZB-6504371-B
Not sure why they are both 67 numbers, as I've only seen the "B" plate on 68's
The only difference is the lower chrome edge is rounded off instead of having square edges like the earlier plate.
I can post pic's of both if that will help.
I'm guessing that the change came about with all the other safety related changes in the 68 interior.
Hope this helps, John

I can't find a picture in my collection showing the slight difference between the two after looking
-
First photo is a -A, second is a -B. Look carefully at the profile of the lower edge, and the inside angles where the upper and lower edges meet.

Interesting...I have five or six of them in various condition...I believe they are all "B"s...I will have to look through them..

FYI although it may fit on a 67/68 Shelby car. No regular production 67 / 68 Shelby came from the factory without a radio unlike previous years.

I have five of them.Four "A"'s and one "B"...All are C7 numbers...Difference is minor but once noticed its easy to pick-up..I wasn't aware of the difference till now.....
