Title: NOS Tires
Post by: Toejamm on June 09, 2010, 04:00:25 PM
As usual, I am looking for a little help here.....I spite of what my wife thinks, I feel I am fairly intelligent, but I cannot decode these Goodyear Polyglas tires.  Anyone want to take a shot?

Not really.  I looked at that thread about 10 times before i posted this and couldn't seem to "unlock the code".  Could be I am just a 75 watt bulb in a 100 watt world.  Aside from Mr. Perkins' article, I also saw other info such as the number of characters denotes the year range....This was neither confermed nor denied in subsequent posts.  If someone could just clarify the decoding methodology, I will decode them myself.

Thanks,
Fran
