Did the 67 Shelby's come with an owner card?
If so, with the whole Ford VIN or just the Shelby VIN?

Don't believe I've ever seen one for a Shelby American built car. Later cars like 69's had them but that was a whole different arrangement

I have not seen one specific to the 67 Shelby. I am leaning towards the opinion they did not get one. It might have something to do with the short 90 warranty period. Shelby did offer a extended warranty program for 67.

Very good to know. Thanks to both of you!
This may belong in another thread, but I'll try it here.
Glovebox contents for the Shelby (ignore the 67 Mustang manual).
I should also have another set of keys in here with the thin, temp wire and the aluminum key number ring.
I wonder if the Shelby got the envelope (since mine is in poor shape)?

You should have only one 67 Shelby manual (you knew that) .Yes, no 67 Mustang owners manual because Shelby manual has the same contents unlike 65 and 66 GT350. The 66 high performance manual is not correct for 67 (different covers). Some of the 67 Shelby's came with the dealer envelopes. If the nylon license plate inserts and screws are not installed on the car (typical dealer prep item) they should be in the glove box in a envelope.

I bought this hi-po manual decades ago.
What does a 67 hi-po supplement look like?

Looks like you bought the wrong version (different year)

Separating the last half dozen or so posts to a new one ;)

Here is a picture of all three types . 67 being on the left. Unfortunately the 67 version is not reproduced yet.

Gentlemen -- thanks for the pics.
Like I said, I picked this up decades ago as I had no idea what the correct one looked like. And, even after all these years of hunting around at swap meets I've never seen that version.
Maybe I can empty my wallet at SAAC43 if I can find one there.
I like the separate thread.

Somehow I got back to this.
- Is the cover picture the only difference between the 66 and 67 high performance manuals?
- Is the texture of the cover the same? In other words, the same type of paper stock?
- Is the rear the same? Same text?
- Are they the same size?
I think you can see where I'm going with this ...

65 is bigger .66 and 67 at the same size. the front and back covers are different on all three. the paper stock is the same and a easy way to tell the difference between a original and a repro. Different texture different sheen.

I suppose a reproduction cover is better than a wrong cover.
Thanks, Bob!
