Any insight to what DSO 89 would imply on a Foxbody?

No Marti Report. Found a somewhat intact parts car in the local picknpull. Collected data for some databases.
Noted it was 1 of 12, 84 GT Turbo vert. It did seem to have every option. It was not an early car as it was built 2/84 and had the mid year updates. These are pretty rare cars.

Odd thing is it seemed to be a local car. Found a local dealer tag frame in the car.

Looking in my Town Car/Crown Vic/Grand Marquis 1991 shop manual and DSO 89 is Transportation Services.  I can't imagine a DSO changing much from '84 to '91.

It is not 1 of 12.  That "1 of 12" number that was mentioned was 12 in my database, as in data that I have collected, not Ford's total production.  And that was for 2A paint.  The car you found is 2E paint.

I can look at some 3rd gen DSO 89 Marti reports and see what the 'sold to' "dealer" was.
