Title: Throttle Cable and Coil Brackets
Post by: 1970 Snake on April 29, 2018, 07:04:45 PM: Can someone please advise the correct color and finish of the throttle cable bracket and the coil mounting bracket on a 1970 428 CJ R-Code Dearborn built mustang.
Also would like to know if the intake air filter housing bracket that comes off the engine is black or Ford blue?

So that should answer the coil bracket and the shaker to intake support. The throttle bracket from my understanding would also typically be P&O

There was a recent discussion on the 428CJ forum about the 70 CJ throttle bracket. P&O for originals, and it appears that service replacements were painted black.

I can't really tell from the pic but are you saying the shaker bracket is also P&O?

Appears to be semi-gloss black (may be dipped) finish, to me
