Title: Coolant Bottle label - 1986 SVO - late
Post by: 8T6 SVO on October 02, 2009, 09:44:01 PM
Here is a piece of artwork that I aquired from the actual Ford designer.  You don't see very many of these on SVO's - only on the very late produced 1986 models. Part # E63E 88009 AA

So, these were on the coolant bottle?  Wow.

Every SVO I have owned has not had that lable.  I have owned three 86's, two 85's, and one 84 and have never seen that lable.

My 86 1C was produced in April of 86, the last month of production for the SVO, I just went and looked and the lable is not there.  I don't even see where it might have been.  Do you have any pictures of the lable on the bottle?

Yes,  This was Brian Tone's old car and I think Bill Hatfield owns it now.

I wish I had some engine shots of Daniel Capenter's low mileage '86 9L, it is a very late production car and should still have it if it was there originally.

Unfortunately, there are no engine shots of Dan Elliott's "last SVO produced" in the Fox-Body Mustang Recognition Guide. That would another excellent resource.
