Title: 1965 interior White vs 1970 interior white
Post by: MaserGT on September 11, 2011, 10:17:32 PM
My apologies in advance for a non-concours questions, but I am posting it here because the forum members should have the greatest familiarity with the comparison.

So for those of you with a good familiarity of both the 1965 interior white (not parchment) and 1970 interior white. Which is "whiter? I suspect that '65 white was a little more pure white and 70 was more creamier? Thinking about this in the context of a non-original interior colour for a car.

65 IMHo is "whiter"  of course your limitation will be getting the 65 colors in seat material, headliner, door panels without a fair amount of extra effort.

For whatever it's worth, there were a couple shades of white during 64.5-65 production, with the latter having a pearl appearance to the vinyl.
