Title: 69 Steering shaft seal
Post by: astat1 on January 08, 2010, 03:19:07 PM
Is there supposed to be a seal that centers the shaft in the outside column tube in the engine compartment? NPD seems to have it listed (# 3738) but they are out of stock without plans for receiving more. Does anyone know of another  vendor if it is supposed to be there?

If your referring to a seal or filler between the natural colored/finished inner tub and the painted outer tube, yes there was a foam like seal and no I do not know anyone that current makes these

Guess its time for a few phone cars if someone else does not respond with a place that currently stocks them
