C7OF-9510-D List 3796 Date 721

I have decided to sell my Ford Holley 4150 carb, C7OF-9510-D   List 3796    Date 721

The carb was rebuilt and re-plated by Pony Carb's (years ago before they were bought by another company). To the best of my knowledge, the carb is complete and correct for a '67 390 auto with thermactor.

I paid $275 for the carb, and then paid just over $800 to have it re-plated and rebuilt.

Full disclosure, I never got this carb adjusted properly. It works, idles fine and the engine ran perfectly off idle. But, using this carb, the engine would stall when transitioning from idle to drive/reverse unless I kept my foot on the throttle. I put a whopping three miles the drivetrain while using this carb. There could be something wrong with the carb, or it may merely be adjusted incorrectly. The same engine runs fine using a different carb.

I drained the fuel (which had stabilizer in it) and then sprayed engine fogging oil through the carb and into the bowls.

As stated above, I have almost $1100 invested in this carb. I realize I won't get my investment back. If interested, send me a PM and make me a reasonable offer.
