So it's some sort of saccharide, interesting.  I guess one could do hours of experimenting and get the formula that works...or just spend the 15 bucks with Caswell every few years.

I'm ok with spending the money for the Cadwell CopyCad solution, their brightener and the dichromates.
But $24 for that small plate of zinc -- uh, no.
