67 SJ body sealer

What type of body sealer would be used on a 67 SJ Dec 66 build for the fenders and gas tank.  I found the following sealer on the dead nuts on site but the application is 68-70:

The San Jose assembly plant used the black seam sealer. 3M makes it and NPD (as well as other suppliers) carries it.
