Odd Radiator code, early 68
« on: January 01, 2020, 07:15:00 PM »
I thought I had all of the W-MO radiator codes. And then I ran into this one:

24" wide
Automatic fittings
C7ZE V2 solder tag
Square FoMoCo
W MO Hidden under center strap
12 6 67 12 date Hidden under center strap (fixed on edit)
No codes seen on straps (installed on car, using flashlight)

Owner wants it to be for a 68 Shelby, but W MOs are not used in Metuchen cars, to my knowledge.
What is it?

It looks like a '68 radiator with the wrong tag. W - Mo radiators had no stampings on the side panels. The tag was it as far as identification.

BTW the date code of 67-12 puts it just about the middle of the '68 model year.

Could not find anything with a V2 application

Looks like its been apart and the tag put on upside down compared to typical/originally
