Coil Bracket ID?
«

Can anyone identify the original application(s) for the coil bracket in the attached picture? The base is longer that the V8 brackets I'm familiar with. Could this be for a six cylinder engine?

If it's from a 6 cyl it's not from a '65-'66; they have two mounting holes, one on each side of the center, that attach to the left side of the block.

If my memory serves me correctly, the 351W used the Long Tab as shown. 289 a slightly shorter tab. The extension between mount tab and round part seems longer then normal.
