Period Dealership Photo Thread
« on: September 22, 2014, 09:55:21 PM »
Couldn't figure out where else to post this (can always do that later if something develops) but though shots of dealerships of the period might be interesting and in some indirect way helpful to someone

Pictures found around the web - if there is a conflict with posting or copyrights just let us know

Enjoy

My '66 FB came from this dealership.  This is the only picture I have been able to find.

EDIT:  Name of dealership is Stockton Quincy.

Here's a picture of Boss night at Swanson Ford in 1995. Swanson Ford was Los Gatos, Ca. They opened in 1961. They closed about 8 years ago due to a disagreement with the city about expanding. The city said no, Steve Swanson said bye-bye, and went duck hunting.

I'm looking for historical images or memorabilia for DEE MOTOR COMPANY, Barstow Ca. (aka. nowherevlle USA, circa 1966-7), if anybody has anything on them.

Talk about a long shot!
