Media Blast Stencil for FoMoCo Script Headlights

(1/2) > >>

Bossbill:
I'm offering a stencil specifically made to handle the rigors of media blasting and blast in the FoMoCo script and words onto your headlights. The stencil is made via a photographic type process so the details are great, IMHO.

See this reference:

I made one set of stencils for GE and another for Tung Sol.

The cost? Simply donate $10 to this site for 2 or $20 for 4:

I have a limited run of these as I did these for my use. However, I had to do two sheets to meet manufacturing minimums.

Be SURE to read the comments included with each picture (the square, cartoon balloon icon) and the included instructions.

PM me here with headlight type and I'll mail you 3 or 5 stencils -- one for practice on a spare non-stock headlight -- that you apply to your headlight and media blast in the script.

Note: This process will not allow you do an acid etch as there is a light carrier film over the stencil.

Thanks Bill, very nice!

I'd be interested in a version to use with etching cream.

J_Speegle:
Thanks for the thought and the effort. Ya the place does have overhead to keep the doors open ;) and the support is very appreciated

Bossbill:
GE style is sold out.
Still have many of the TS style.

If I get enough requests I could make another run of the GEs. so PM me with your request and if I get enough requests I'll do it.

Bossbill:
I just ordered another set of photoresist media so I will again be able to offer GE headlight masks.
Let me know via PM if you need any. Tung Sol is still in stock.

I'm testing out my newly created masks for Carlite windows. Since these are date coded they would be specific to your car -- it's bespoke!
Windshield, side glass or rear glass are all different so each is a different mask. Sun-X requires yet another style mask. This might affect the price as it would be higher than the "one-size-fits-all" headlight masks. I might consider offering a reasonably priced polish kit to remove the old Carlite and date if there is enough demand.

Both processes require low pressure media blast so keep this in mind. The windows would need to be out of the car!
I have enough to do without investigating acid etch, so please don't ask.
