I've searched the forum and can't quite tell from pictures...
What is the correct finish for the various bolts on a C4? New Jersey car...'68
Servo Covers
Case
Etc

Looking at what I've got looks to me that the pan bolts are zinc or bare steel. Intermediate servo cover is dark heat treated color
Need to find a couple more pictures to see that the tailshaft housing to main body is

Thanks Jeff...I think I have the pan bolts and bell housing to engine bolts figured out. From the pictures I can find it looks like the rest of the bolts might be phosphate (or heat treated) but I'm just trying to be sure.

Yes ,phosphate and oil on those-tail and servo bolts IMO .

Looks like the neutral safety is attached with bolts and star washers plated with silver or clear zinc (silver in color) and the band adjustment nut just in front of that point is dark finished also
