Title: Clarification on constructing body dolly marks tools
Post by: camp upshur on November 27, 2023, 01:50:36 AM

Jeff has posted a very nice library article on body dolly marks (https://concoursmustang.com/speegle/Articles/Article-DollyMarksCMF2018v4.pdf).

To those who have utilized the article I would like to clarify the dimensions of two items listed to construct the tools:

- 9/16" x 4 1/2" bolt? anyone use an alternative size? say 7/16";
- 1/2" rubber hose? (w a 9/16" bolt?).

Thanks
Steve A

Nothing hard and fast. Just what works for you and keeps them in place. I used those sizes so that all the bolts could be uniform and the rubber heater hose would, on those four points, would be forced to expand outward and have not much give inward to assure they stay in place

Just what worked for me. Know others have taken the info and put their own twist on the design out of choice or using what they had around
