How can I tell the difference between an original 69 owners manual and a reproduction?  I seen an original many years ago but didn't really take the time to see any differences, which I'm sure there are some.

easiest way is to look at page that dash cluster is shown. Look at the mph marks . If genuine they will be sharp and defined. On a repro they  are blurry enough that seemed to bleed together.

...and if you can read the zero's in the odometer and trip meter that's a good sign.  Brian

From the original owners manuals I have:
The 1969 First Edition Owners Manual is dated July 1968 (Production started for 1969 late July 1968 / August 1968)
The 1969 Second Edition Owners Manual is dated January 1969

Hope that helps. Dates on these copies are inside the cover first page on the bottom.
