Question.
I am in the process of installing what appears to be a factory 3 row radiator in a 65 Fastback factory AC car. The fan must be installed lastly since there is no radiator installation clearance with the fan installed.
What is the correct procedure and what fan and spacer are used? It seems to me that a slotted fan mount must be used and the spacer may be bolted on separately. Thanks!

Are you not using a fan clutch?
-
Chris, it has a solid fan. Did the factory use a fan clutch on AC cars? thanks!
-
As far as I know they did. How many blades is your fan?
-
What engine?
With the aftermarket 3 row radiator on my daily driver 66 Hardtop (289 "A" code, AT, PS, no A/C) I used a 68 spacer with four shorter bolts
and a shroud. (Not concourse.)

Guys. it's a 4 blade fan. I have to do a trial fit and report back, thanks again!

I'm running a three row radiator with a five blade fan and fan clutch and shroud.
-
'65 factory A/C would typically be a 5 blade w/clutch.

Thanks again!
Is it true that the factory did not provide a 3 row for 65/66 mustangs AC or Not?

There was what is referred to as a Desert Cooler radiator that was an option but pretty uncommon. Can be seem in other threads
