68-70 Radiator Shroud Repro (SOLD)
« on: June 24, 2021, 11:09:35 PM »
Hello,

I ordered a radiator fan shroud from NPD years ago and it was the wrong size (I need one for an original radiator). Forgot I had it and it is obviously long past the return period. Let me know if you'd like to make an offer on it. I am located in Minneapolis, MN.

NPD part number 8146-2B

Bob, you brought up a good point. Their website and catalog show 8146-2B for "68-70 390/428, 24" radiator, repro, stronger than original, New tooling uses modern technology for improved appearance and durability".

I ordered 8146-2A which lists for any original radiator / 67 390.

I have edited the year for this thread. Thanks!

I should mention that the NPD description is somewhat misleading . Repro replacement radiators for 67 Mustang/Shelby are 24 inch's wide like the 68-70 so the shroud fits those . Back in the day Ford superseded replacement radiators for a 67 were also 24 inch's wide . You need the narrower 67 shroud NPD 8146-2A to fit the assemblyline style radiator.

Hi there...still have the shroud?  If so I am interested.  I see NPD currently sells it for $59 plus the ride.  How about $40 plus shipping to 83687?

Hi there, my apologies, I did sell the radiator shroud. I will try to mark it as sold.
