1967 rocker molding install- visible clips
« on: June 06, 2023, 10:56:49 PM »
So I just installed my rocker moldings and the tops of the plastic clips are slightly visible after install. Is this typical? It looks like the way the clips are designed they will always be visible. Is this just the way the reproduction pieces fit? Any pics of the top of the rocker moldings on unrestored vehicles?

Yes if you have really good eyesight and your at the right distance and angle there is a lip or spacer built into the plastic clips that ends up just between the rocker molding and the body

Will merge, in a day or so,  this post with one of those two threads to keep them together for the future.

Thank you! It probably doesn?t help that the car is nightmist blue so the white clips stick out a little more.
