Title: 1966 GT350H lug nuts
Post by: dbm350 on November 24, 2009, 12:05:47 AM
Does anybody know what the correct lug nuts are for the 1966 Hertz crome magnums?  And where I could find them?  Thanks

Believe they are the same as the 65-66 styled steel wheels.

These are available in reproduction form from any of the Mustang catalog shops such as NPD, Virgina.....

NOS versions are seen on Eaby from time to time.

I got frustrated trying to buy repro '66 styled steel wheel lug nuts when they didn't have the correct proportions and/or look like the illustrations in the catalog.  I ended up buying NOS and they weren't really all that expensive as I recall.

If you buy the center cap decals, make sure you get the one with the red hertz background and not the gold.  Not sure if they are still hard to come by

Thanks guys. I thought the lug nuts might be the same as 66 styled steel wheels , but was not at all sure. As for the center cap decals, I did find the correct ones. Jim Cowles if I remember right .
