Title: Power steering pump brackets
Post by: MattDoscher on June 24, 2016, 10:24:59 AM
WTB a correct, original, and usable set of power steering pump brackets for a '65 200 6cyl w/ Ford pump.  I don't have a MPC but from what I've seen there's 3 separate brackets used.  The large one that bolts to the front of the pump, an L-shaped bracket that mounts to the side of the engine, and a long support rod.

thanks,
Matt

I have a '65 6-Cylinder also. This extra set, along with a Pump and Pulley, I was planning to list on eBay this weekend.

The Main Pump Bracket and Block Bracket are original, the Brace is not however. In the photo, the original Brace from my car is shown at the top...I used it to make the Brace shown on the bottom of the photo. It's made from 5/8" solid steel rod rather than tube steel...only because I couldn't find tube steel. It's very close to the original and once installed, I think even judges would be hard pressed to notice the difference.

I know you said original but thought I'd pass this along anyway.

I received your PM, to which I'll respond, but posted this since photos can't be posted in a PM. These photos just give you a little more of a detailed look.
