Title: 66 CONVERTIBLE ROOF PART (i think)

Presently nearing the finishing touches on my 66 convertible but after installiing the roof and alike i have come across two rubber bumpers/stops/parts that i cannot work out where they belong. they where in my box of convertible roof items but i dont have images to suggest where they should go or there application.  im hoping someone maybe able to advise what they do or where they go!!!!
 Also i cant seem to find any reference to them in parts catalogues or assembly manuals.

Those would be the rubber bumpers that go inside the door latches!

Thanks Charles i appreciate your prompt reply. how it got into the convertible roof stuff i have no idea.  thats what happend when dis-assembly and assembly are 7 years in between i guess.
