What I put together here is an update to the original article that Bob Perkins wrote in 2000 that was printed in Mustang Monthly and added some new information and photos.  Comments.....let me know.  Big difference for me is seeing all of this in color now.

The engine pictured is a 70, but the engine decal is from a 69. Also, one of Jeff's pictures of an original 69 decal shows the timing (and something illegible above the timing) rather than a small C1.
