Topic: help ID pin-brake master cylinder link

I have the "pin-brake master cylinder link" parts in the attached pictures.  I've looked through all of my resources and find no reference.  I suppose they could be prototype parts that never made it into production.  A copy of the Ford part was included.

Any ideas?  Thanks, John

Just throwing a guess out. Based on your pictures and the nomenclature Ford used they appear to be the pin portion of the brake pedal arm where the master cylinder rod attaches. AFAIK you couldn't purchase the pin separately since it was part of the brake pedal lever it wouldn't be listed in the MPC. Again, just a guess.

Looks like the pin that is attached to the brake pedal arm to which the brake lamp switch is attached.

You are correct about the brake light switch however it fits onto the master cylinder rod (# 2143 in the image), and both are slid over the pin we're talking about. With the master cylinder mounted style brake light switch (as on 64 1/2's),  there wouldn't be a brake light switch at the location shown in your MPC pic, just the MC rod.
