Is there a date code on 1987-93 hoods? If so where is it usually located. Thanks for your help.

The reason I ask is because I had fox body hood advertised for sale. I advertised it as ? original white paint fox body hood?. Now a fellow from Manitoba calls me and asked what year did the hood come from. Seem that the white is different from one year to another. I?m a first generation kind of guy and had picked up this hood from I don?t remember who and where.

Ok, found it near passenger side hood hinge.
Reads: A9ZB and C2  W2.
Would that be for a 1989 model??,  March 2
