AMP meter harness
« on: September 08, 2021, 11:59:09 AM »
ok it has been talked about but  have ever been able to determine how this last harness is supposed to be run. The Amp meter harness runs along the firewall to the right and has the 2 base plug on it, the second one is the "all" mustang (oil pressure, coil and temp gage harness) are one of these harness eliminated, split , partially disconnected etc. Any pictures would be greatly appreciated.

The first picture hooks up under the hood at where the engine portion of the dash harness goes through the firewall. It simply goes between the connector that hangs down at the firewall and the short extension harness that goes to the oil pressure and temperature sender. That double connector splits off the oil pressure feed to the console gage.

So does the amp meter harness (picture 1 ) plug into regular harness (picture 2 ) and then the regular engine harness(coil/oil pressure and temperature sensor ) wiring plug into picture 2?

The 2 wire plug in pic 1 plugs into the plug in pic 2. The 3 wire plug in pic 1 plugs into the engine extension harness (not pictured) that goes to the distributor, oil pressure and temperature.
