'70 "F" code Mach One ?
« on: March 16, 2019, 12:22:30 PM »
I know this probably a stupid question, but some guy on the '69-70 Mach One Facebook page claims there were San Jose (and possibly other plants) that made 1970 Mach Ones with "F" code 302 engines. This is not correct is it?  I would think Kevin Marti would have records and this would be well known in the Mustang community if it were so.

The F code 302-2V was standard on 1971 mach 1s but unavailable on a 1970 mach 1. Even though the differences are extreme to me, some people might remember a 1971 mach 1 they saw as a 1970.
