General Discussion / Re: History of my Mustang

Its been quite a while since I owned that Mustang, I now have a 67 390 GT Coupe.  The 66 was my first Mustang and I restored it as much as original as possible, so all of the suspension, exhaust interior engine bay etc was Factory.  I prefer the original look that the souped up versions of the Mustang.

1969 Mustang / Re: 1969 351 2V carburettor

Its going to matter if its for a manual or automatic trans, but it will look like this one:

Not concours, but the C9ZF-A is for manuals

The C9ZF-B is for automatics

As I read the post the GT light switch was one (the first) of two requests \

OP  wrote - "I would also like to weld all other holes under the dash. Some are pretty obvious that they were added at a later point. Others I can't tell for sure."   ;)
It's my one track mind in action.  8)

Phil, do you have a way to save these images to a more accessible format like jpeg or png? None of my older image apps recognize the Apple .heic format.
Try https://cloudconvert.com/heic-converter
There are others.

Did the 1966 use that squirrely font?

1969 Mustang / 1969 351 2V carburettor

I would love to see close up photos of any original 1969 Mach 1 2V Autolite carburettors with the air cleaner removed.

My particular interest is mustangs built in the latter part of April at the San Jose plant.

Photos of front, back and sides appreciated.

Thanks for the replies.

Hi Mark,

The stance on this looks really good. What size are the wheels and tyres on it?

Did you end up going ahead with a restoration?

If so, what did you do and can you post some photos after you finished?

Cheers,
Jake
