Hello all... What is the preferred ride height at the rear of my '66 K code GT convertible, wearing 205/70 14 tires? The bottom leaf is marked C4ZA5556 S. Is this original? What does the S refer to? Thanks for your help

Mike,
First, welcome to the forum. The next part isn't so good. Your "K" convertible probably came with 6.95X14 nylon, either black or white side wall, dual red line tires (5 each). So your current 205/70-14 tires really can't be give a "book" answer. The best I can come up with is the front rides about 1 inch higher.

The C4ZA-S leaf was original equipment on your K code. They are date coded and extremely hard to find used if missing. They were also used on 65 and 66 GT350's which adds to their desirability. Most people will if switching to different leaf springs switch out the bottom leaf to the new set.
