I've sent mine out to be rebuilt and have the advance curve dialed in. If you do, ask the shop if they have a Sun distributor machine.

I was thinking of sending mine out to Dan at Nolan/Glazier Mustang Barn. He was recommended and seems knowledgable.  However, he is now looking for a correctly stamped distributor for my application.

I used Distributor Dynamics in Brownsville, CA. Chuck Barbero was his name, but he said he was tapering off in doing rebuilds. If you want his phone number, send me a PM. I don't want him to get excessive calls if he's out of business.

If Tim is still up and running, he does fantastic work.

Sure about that?  His website says "closed until further notice".

Tim did a couple for me. I also noticed the closed on his website.  I do hope it is temporary, but this is becoming another one of the skills fading away.  Just another aspect of the great generation silently disappearing into the night.
