Searched the site, but couldn't find a specific answer to the above question.

I believe all light colors and some dark colors required blackout, but is there a definitive list of which colors?

Specifically asking about my April 66 built San Jose Candy Apple red GT coupe.

They may have been applied buy a mechanism at a station along the line at San Jose that was triggered by the body passing by. IF so then all would have received the black out though difficult to see on the finished product. Not aware nor has anyone mentioned from the plant that there was an official list of colors and doubt if one was ever assembled

Any specific color your asking about?

Thanks Jeff,

yes...Candy Apple Red...and other contributors to this post suggest this color would receive blackout (and as you suggest, probably all colors).

Need pictures of how it looked or did you find enough examples on the site in other threads to assist you?
