Title: Boss 429 spare tire protector and air cannister bracket mounting

Just curious, were the rivnuts/threaded inserts in the trunk floor that the air cannister bracket and spare tire/taillight protector bolt to, installed before or after the car was painted?  Anyone have any pictures?  Or a source for the correct nuts?

After car was painted. Inserts were clear cadmium.
