70-Decor interior door shell rubber plugs
« on: March 21, 2018, 04:55:46 PM »
Anybody know what these are? This door is off of a 1970 car with decor interior. I think the guy I bought it from said it was a Grande. There are around 5 or six of these just above the part of the door shell that is uncovered with the standard door panels.

Is that a plug for Z-Bart?

Believe I've seen them installed before. Just another plug for a unused hole like many others this time for the unused clip holes. Not sure how the engineers thought they served a great purpose given the much larger holes above

I pulled off my original door panels and there were no plugs like those in either door. I was the first to pull them off since factory. 10=69 dearborn. Must be an add on by someone

Or a running change?  OP didn't share with us any details about where the door came from that would help. Don't think it was available to him

It's a plug used on models 63B, 67B and 76B Mustangs, ref AM0032 pg22, item E, p/n 377934-S. Unfortunately, no documentation has bee found as to its dimensions.
