At SEMA yesterday, Ford unveiled it's future of the Electric-powered Mustang.

It’s a shame there are no plans to put it into production. At 90-100k, I’d take that over a Tesla everyday of the week. Unfortunately I don’t have that kind of money for a Tesla either, but apparently a lot of people do.

One of the topics of discussion locally about PG&E shutting off power in sections of California for "fire prevention" was that electric powered cars are going to be "stranded". There were reports of a couple of Teslas having to be towed out of the Geyserville Area - no power. Keep that in mind.

Would guess that there would be fewer if the tax payers were not picking up part of the price to buy them. ::)

I have an electric car. I think the batteries are getting a bit worn out as I have to charge it once a week. But, the run to the mailboxes and its garbage can duty isn't very taxing.
I don't care much about outages as the backup gennie handles all of that.
But sadly it's not a Mustang.

Sure we will all me paying for that. Been looking at used cars recently and noticed the number of complaints from those purchasing used electric cars. Stranding, not holding or depleted storage capabilities.
